Pencilfish is an established agency, based just outside Cambridge. Since Pencilfish was founded in 2000 our creativity has benefited a wide range of clients, from local companies, such as Jeffersons Commercial and Kidney Research UK, to large international businesses, such as Computerlinks and Cyber-Ark.

Gary Hurst
Director
Gary has worked in design and advertising for over 30 years. His primary roles include strategic concept development, copywriting and design, as well as playing a key part in customer liaison. His past experience includes working for several London agencies on major national accounts such as Carling, Suchard, Crayola, Anglian Water, NTL and Multiyork. Gary has also worked for a number of regional agencies and design companies.

Mark Shaw
Director
Mark joined Pencilfish in 2002, having worked for a high-profile agency for over 10 years. As well as client liaison he plays a key role in design, artwork and project management – ensuring a smooth process, from concept through to print delivery. Previous experience includes working on accounts such as Spears Games, Citroën, Plastikote and Multiyork. Mark trained at Isle College, Wisbech.

Linda Joynes
Marketing consultant
Linda has over 15 years' marketing experience within the UK and European markets and previously worked for Check Point Software Technologies as EMEA Marketing Director for over seven years. Her expertise covers a wide range of key marketing activities, including: marketing programmes and incentives; marketing planning and implementation; media strategies and online promotions; event management; recruitment strategies; exhibition organisation and promotional giveaways.

Dan Mack
Web
Dan's role at Pencilfish is all things web based, from emailers to websites. Dan is a qualified graphic designer and has been in the design industry for over 20 years now. He made the leap to multimedia design over 11 years ago and has never looked back. Dan has worked for a number of large design agencies over the years, working on accounts such as Aventis, Axiom Films, Downs Syndrome Association, Glaxo Smith Kline, Novartis, Plain Lazy and The British Film Institute.
